Is your demo reel professional enough to get you into the casting room or booked on the job?

I gather the demo reel is a tough process for someone who's new in the biz. It's telling that both Ivy and Ryan say that any new face only represents risk to the client. I'll have to assume from my research that the newbie should concentrate on quick moments of eye catching, quality material with no titles.
